About 50 percent of our automobiles are sold to accredited dealers at wholesale auctions and are reused for transportation. One other fifty percent are usually transported to auto salvage yards where by all reusable auto pieces, batteries, tires and fluids are taken off. Autos that can be recycled are crushed, shredded and recycled into metal.B
